Video Arts Studios teams up with Sybex, Inc.

In late July, early August of 2001 we video taped Fargo business owner and computer expert David Groth at his South Fargo training center, Practical Training Solutions. Groth is a leading author for Sybex Inc, the world's largest independent publisher of computer books. For this project, Sybex asked David to star in an instructional video to accompany his best-selling book, the A+ Complete Study Guide Deluxe Edition. During the two-day shoot, Groth covered 20 hands-on, essential technical tasks in computer service and repair from the A+ certification exam. Over the last few years, Groth has authored more than 20 publications for Sybex, Inc. Producers Art Phillips and Troy Parkinson worked closely with Sybex editor, Elizabeth Hurley, who flew in from California for the shoot. Phil Kerr designed an original set. Tom Tollefson and Marty Halgrimson were there to capture it all on tape and our Avid editor, Autumn Steenerson, edited and compressed the 20 segments for the CD-ROM.
