Wooly Boys Electronic Press Kit

Video Arts Studios was hired by Wooly Boys Productions to shoot and edit their electronic press kit for the upcoming independent feature film Wooly Boys starring Peter Fonda, Kris Kristofferson, Keith Carradine and Joe Mazzello. The electronic press kit will be used to market Wooly Boys at film festivals across the world, and promote the film on entertainment television shows and possibly provide extra features on any future DVD release.

Shot entirely in North Dakota and Minnesota, Wooly Boys is a contemporary family film that tells a comedic and heartwarming story of an earthy sheep rancher (Peter Fonda) who, with the assistance of his grizzled partner (Kris Kristofferson) helps his over-protected, computer-obsessed, city-dwelling grandson (Joseph Mazzello) regain his lost childhood. The interaction between grandfather and grandson helps the family come to terms with its past.

Fargo's Ken Promersberger of The Promersberger Company advertising agency is the film's executive producer. His partner, Robert Schwartz, who is a Minnesota film industry veteran and now of Los Angeles, is producer.

Video Arts' camera crew worked hand in hand with Fargo's Bill Marcil Jr., the film's publicist, when they traveled to Medora in late September for shooting and in Minneapolis for shooting in early October. Senior Editor Mike Lerfald cut the European electronic press kit together.

It was indeed a wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing the film on the big screen.
